Our presence spans across the globe, as we have successfully executed 500+ projects in various regions such as CIS, Western and Eastern Europe, North and South America, Australia, Asia, and Africa.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Local Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in Spain and Italy. This role is pivotal in driving demand generation, increasing brand awareness, and positioning Awara IT  as a prominent player in the cluttered IT consulting and system integration space. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local markets, and target audiences, and the ability to craft and execute marketing strategies tailored to these regions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape in Spain and Italy.
    • Develop and implement a localized marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
    • Define target audience segments and develop tailored messaging to resonate with local prospects and customers.
  2. Demand Generation:
    • Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads & opportunities for solutions like Microsoft Business Central, including. Migration/Go to Cloud, and Copilot.
    • Utilize a mix of inbound and outbound marketing tactics, including content marketing, events, webinars, e-mail marketing and digital marketing.
    • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance to ensure ROI and lead quality.
  3. Brand Awareness:
    • Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen brand presence and recognition in the local markets.
    • Create and manage local content, including case studies, blog posts, social media content, and press releases, to build thought leadership.
    • Collaborate with local media outlets and associations/chambers of commerce to increase visibility and credibility.
  4. Co-Marketing & Partnerships:
    • Establish and manage co-marketing initiatives with Microsoft, Distributors, and local Associations/Chambers of Commerce.
    • Plan and execute joint campaigns, events, and webinars in collaboration with key partners.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Microsoft and other Partners to maximize marketing impact.
  5. Event Management:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute local events, including conferences, workshops, and webinars, to engage with prospects and customers.
    • Ensure all events are aligned with the overall marketing strategy and deliver measurable results.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the local marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals.
    • Track and report on marketing spend, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Business Development, Digital Sales and global marketing teams to ensure alignment and support for regional marketing efforts.
    • Provide insights and feedback to the product development team based on local market needs and trends.

Job requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the B2B IT consulting or technology sector. Experience in demand generation and awareness building.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the local markets in Spain and Italy, including customer behaviour, cultural nuances, industry dynamics, competition
  • Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of marketing channels, tactics, and tools. Experience with content marketing, event management, e-mail marketing, digital marketing, and partner marketing is required. Practical knowledge of the local media landscape.
  • Partnership Management: Proven experience in managing co-marketing initiatives and partnerships.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish/Italian and English is required.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different audiences.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
